CHIC Style | Pepper Train Necklace

Hey CHICs,
More recently I've been getting more and more obssesed with handmade jewelry! I love to support local businesses so couldn't pass up the opportunity to work with Pepper Train.

Pepper Train was started about a year ago by Kaitlin Ryan. Why the name Pepper Train? Well according to Kaitlin's friends she has a spicy personality and she is always moving at full speed! Kaitlin graduated from Meredith College with a fashion merchandising degree and has worked in various retail management and merchandising settings. She currently works for Raleigh Denim in Raleigh, NC as the Curartory Shop Manager.

Kaitlin always dreamed of making jewelry. In high school she always found wire and beads to create earrings and necklaces for herself and her friends!

With her creative juices flowing in her role at Raleigh Denim Kaitlin has been able to start selling her pieces in store. She gained the confidence to contact local shops to carry from necklaces as well.

What makes Pepper Train unique is it's distinctive aesthetic. "It's versatile and has a broad following," Kaitlin explains. She even offers custom options for clients as well!

When it comes to style Kaitlin says her style has evolved over the years. She loves black, grays, and neutrals. She appreciates quality over quantity and investing in pieces that have longevity! One of her favorite looks include sneakers, a great pair of leather ankle boots and the perfect Pepper Train necklace!

Kaitlin plans on starting a website soon but to get your hands on her jewelry follow her on Instagram: @peppertrain1 (#peppertrain1, #beadsbyhand, #beadboss)!
